Started in 2021 by pitmaster Julio Santos, Smoke & Salt brings the traditions of Texas BBQ together with the fresh coastal flavors of the NC coast. Julio spent 8 years in Austin before moving to Wilmington, and the collision of cultures created something entirely new.
Every brisket is smoked for 12 hours over post oak. Every piece of seafood is sourced fresh from local NC waters. The result is a menu that feels deeply familiar and completely unlike anything you've tasted before.
